Debra Creates the Harmony Festival

The Harmony Festival — a nationally acclaimed three-day celebration of music, art, ecology, health, and spirituality — was founded in 1978 as the Health & Harmony Festival by Debra Giusti.

As California’s first transformational festival, it expanded over 33 years from a small holistic gathering into one of the nation’s largest and most influential conscious music and cultural events.

Over the decades, Debra continued to evolve and enrich the festival, featuring World Class Music, Visionary Speakers, Health Expo, Healing Sanctuary, Eco Village, Goddess Grove, Multi-media Arts, and a dynamic Global Marketplace.

The iconic Techno Tribal Community Dance, featured top DJs, laser light art, and cutting-edge performers. The festival’s mission was to inspire personal and planetary transformation by uplifting new-paradigm culture and bringing diverse communities together.

At its peak, the Harmony Festival attracted more than 30,000 people annually and became a cornerstone of West Coast transformational culture.

Though it concluded in 2011, it remains legendary for its joyful atmosphere, groundbreaking programming, and the powerful sense of community it awakened.

Each show attracted up to 50,000+ international viewers, offering light, hope, and unity during uncertain times. Today, the Global Peace Tribe continues to produce The Awakening World online show, expanding the reach of conscious media worldwide.
